Though I've been very tired for the past few days, it has been such a wonderful weekend and national day eve for me.
Finally met up with Qiyan, meiyin, xinli, huiting, aisim and daniel on sat, though kite flyer weiyeh still din turned up...has been ages I've seen them, or really find out how their lives have been...everyone is just so busy...and caught up with working life. we ate at this i-cant-pronounce name jap restaurant and later went for ben and jerry's. The thing is, it seems like everyone is auto back to sec sch mode when we get together, which is the feeling I really like. Everything is just so simple, u just say wat u want without having to tink, n laf as ungraciously as u want, afterall who in the grp hasnt seen each other's ugliest side?
went qiyan's hse for majong and realise how bad im at the game...they were all busy explaining this and that...despite my 'supberb' skills, i still manage to win...10 cents in the end...hahaha...and we r meeting this sat again to take fotos at dhs in our grad gown b4 it gets pulled down...really looking fwd to tt....
N then, there was AC outing on tues! it was an early celebration for my bday...so touch that they still bother to do so much after a good long 10 years. David even bought me high class secret recipe cake!hehee...too bad irwin couldnt make it, but it was good enough. The gals with their excellent taste bought me a bag which i really liked...they noe i like big bags, so wenru made sure it was A4 size=) dan even left office early to meet us, and she felt a bit guilty bout leaving the work to her senior, which made me felt guilty...but selfish me totally agreed with her decision!we all need a break man! n yes dan, AC outing always make us feel that we have life outside work right? thanks for the pressie guys!
I've always treasured my childhood frens, but even more so now in this changing phase of our lives, when we all need to laugh at each other for entertainment and remind ourselves that there are more impt things in life besides work.
